Ladies' Retreat

We just completed our Ladies' Retreat at the Limbaugh/Nelson cabin on beautiful Lake Pomme de Terre! Friday night we had a great salad supper and then had our first session with a meaningful time of worship, a hilarious skit, and an introduction/discussion on the story of the Woman at the Well. Next was our first SpaStation, choosing between a facial, hand treatment, or pedicure. Some finished off the evening with a relaxing time in the hottub. Saturday morning we arose to the wonderful smell of frying bacon and eggs along with fruit and blueberry buckle. We moved on to more great worship and a discussion time about thirst and dryness. Then came our next SpaStation, and a break for lunch. Finally, we worshiped again, watched a skit about Jesus in Aisle Three, and discussed how we tap into the Living Water on a regular basis. We finished that session by praying for one another one at a time and sharing deeply. We had one more SpaStation to complete, then cleanup, supper, and return trip home. Sure wish you all could have been there! Fun, sharing, and relaxing were had by all!
